Pain point
Most contact apps want your family's details up in their cloud, and they still let birthdays slip unless everyone's on the same service. I just wanted reminders and shared contacts without sending any of it to a server.
Inspiration
I kept losing track of my own family's numbers and birthdays, and a cloud account felt like too much for something that personal. So I made it offline-first, where the data stays on the phone and nowhere else.
